Esthar Attack
- Main Article: Esthar Attack
“Foreign relations between the Garden and other countries are not as friendly as we would like them to be. Being an independent military unit leased out for mercenary work has lead some nations to speculate that we might be spying or contributing towards anti-government activities such as aiding varying resistance parties. In the wake of such speculation, one nation's suspicions have begun to boil due to the cause of a new and highly aggressive leader.”
Basically, that is how the metaplot started. Being the mercenary organisation Garden is, the governments of almost every nation are somewhat sceptical about what sort of work Garden may have carried out. Esthar, being the most isolated and paranoid nation, decided to attack, convinced that Garden had worked against them. [1].
During the invasion a handful of students descended into the Underdark and activated Gardens defence mechanism. Meanwhile, Estharian soldiers had cornered the students in the Halls. They were all killed by Bahamut, and Garden took off into the ocean.
During the event, Ezekiel was the Headmaster of Garden. Cid had vanished, possibly having left Garden because he knew about the impending invasion and went into hiding.
Ezekiel vanished.
Faculty member Faelyn Landum was left in charge of Garden.
Garden landed (well, landed roughly) in FH before anyone knew the steering controls. While there, Garden was fixed up, rested and the faculty decided on what to do next.

Deling Exercise
- Main Article: Deling Exercise
Garden then left Fisherman’s Horizon and arrived in Deling City to undergo discussions with the Galbadian government. [2]
Cid finished negotiating with the Eshtarian government over peace talks. The negotiations were a failure. Cid then travelled to Deling City. On his (secret) return to Garden, Cid explained that not only were the negotiations a failure, but the Estharian government had been pressurising Galbadia about Gardens actions, and that the Galbadian government no longer welcomed Garden. [3]
After a simple field excursion gone wrong, Garden was forced to leave Galbadia.
Cid’s return has not been announced.
Dollet Mission
- Main Article: Dollet Mission
After leaving Deling, Garden landed just outside of Dollet.
A student was caught trespassing by Galbadian soldiers that were occupying the town.
SeeD candidates were hired by a resistance group to assault the Communications Tower and rid the town of Galbadian occupation. They completed this mission and rescued their captured student.
