Background Information
Hertz Dorsfield was born in Timber. Around the age of 15, Hertz joined the Timber Bears resistance that currently is non-active. During his time in the resistance group, he was used often to spy on Galbadian Soldiers. After much coercion from his siblings, took a train headed to Balamb in order to join Garden.
Analysis
Hertz Dorsfield is very much a paranoid guy, after much espionage acts has caused him to be weary of his surroundings and people around him.
Combat Data
Often a flirt and womanizer, his feelings and morals are put aside during battle. Cold and determined, he will often resort to more dishonorable forms of attacking.

Multiple Enemies
Hertz will quickly run in between enemies, holding his kusarigama by the end of the chain and spinning with a minimum of three(3) to six(6) hits to all enemies.
Volatile
Single Enemy - Poison/Confuse
Hertz tosses the sickle end into the enemy, hauling them in with the chain. Concentrating poisonous chi to his hands, he grabs the enemy, poisoning them so. After doing so, turns them around to do a "German" suplex, causing confusion.
Vile
Multiple Enemies - Bad Breathe
More like version two of Vortex, except Hertz casts Tornado that is suspectingly filled with a cacophony of ailments along with hitting enemies with the minimum of six(6) to a maximum of twelve(12) hits with added strength.
Volition
Single Enemy
Hertz walks up to enemy, whispering something to them and then walking them off field, bringing himself back to the battle. The will to fight has been destroyed. However, bosses don't seem to understand the reason, which in case those whispered threats come true. With strength added, Hertz extends his blade with light. Jumping into the air, he corkscrews with his kusarigama, whipping the enemy with a minimum twelve(12) to the maximum of twenty-four(24) hits. The extravagant light from the blade resembles that of the Oroborus.
