Background Information

Dimitri's hometown was originally Balamb, where everyone knew everyone else. His parents were well-known as fighters, but they liked spending their days fishing. Not much one for the sun simply because of his extremely pale skin he inherited from his father's side, Dimitri took to learning the ways of the blade, which his father quickly took to mentoring as was traditional if the son showed a talent with battles. Up until the age of nine, Dimitri spent his time with his parents and out in the fields to make his skills sharper. He hardly socialized with others outside the family, though some of the kids were friendly enough with him.

Upon reaching the end of everything he could teach his son, his father sent Dimitri abroad to live with his uncle in Dollet, his father's brother by the name of Malshano. His uncle was much different from Dimitri's parents; cold, aloof, hardly any respect for others. In fact, Demi at first thought this was a joke. But without much warning, his uncle struck and had brought their first sparring to the brink of Dimitri's level as to start off the relationship from uncle and nephew to mentor and student.

For the next four years, Dimitri was learning rapidly of what it means to be a fighter, his uncle hardly giving him any slack. In the means of escape, Dimitri occasionally took a repast from training and would travel on trains back to Balamb and even Winhill - where an aunt lived at.

The times he was visiting his aunt from his mother's side, he had come across a particularly strange girl that at first didn't seem fit for fighting at all. In fact, she hardly seemed qualified to walk alone. Usually he felt drawn to an empty field, and that was when this girl literally bumped into him. She was three years younger than him, and yet she was probably the most mature person he ever met {with occasional falls and accidents that came from her clumsy nature}. The girl was Rosalia Laxzi, who came to look at him like a brother, which was a new feeling for Dimitri, who was a single child. This was for the better when the news came one day that his parents had left on a fishing expedition and had been reported capsized at sea. With the girl's help, he slowly recovered even with his uncle's reproving look at Dimitri's emotions.

After another year of training, both he and Rosalia decided to enroll in the Gardens, though while Rosalia had immediately went to Balamb, his uncle had forced him into Galbadia. After three months, he was approved for a transfer because he was nothing short of being impossible to stay still. And so he and his sister are in the same Garden, Dimitri in his final years of learning before becoming a SeeD, hopefully.

History at Balamb Garden

Known as the 'Ghost Fighter' because of his pale complexion and his accuracy and strength in battle. Not much else is known about him yet other than he had been buried in homework and exams.

Appearance

Dimitri has a slender build of 6'3", with pale skin inherited from his parents, as well as pale hair of blonde and pale brown. All irony, he would be considered more 'beautiful' than 'handsome', even to the point that people had to look twice at him to guess which gender he was. Another reason he cropped his hair the way it is to make things easier.

On his back, he has markings of what seems like black angel wings. They sometimes show through when he wears his traditional white clothing. He isn't phased when people stare at his back, taking pride in those markings. Usually can be seen wearing a necklace around his neck of a black cross, and also wears chains around his waist.

Analysis

Appears to be quite polite and nice to new people and especially around adults, though sometimes he could look haunted and cold when he feels like he's alone in the room.

Sometimes he cares for what other people feels, and even have a small affection. But he stays distant to avoid getting close to someone, to avoid causing pain or receiving pain of his own. Not only does he see no point in doing so to open up like that, he already knew how it felt to have someone rip his soul apart.

During battle, he fiercely attacks to protect, but if he saw that it was a lost cause, he could hesitate, making an opening for the enemy. His mind says to abandon the cause, but his heart would tell him otherwise. He has so much honor and pride that he prefers to keep fighting, avoid thinking altogether. Thinking hurts too much for him, usually.

Combat Data

Something he's best at. Swift on his feet and heavy in his swings, he could easily dispatch some hard-shelled creatures, but he changes tactics from heavy to fast when facing flying or quick creatures. His defense and speed are average, but his attack stat is the highest there is. Magic stats are rarely used on his part, so he relies on Potions rather than Cures on his part.

Limit Break Information

Chaos Blade

Single Enemy - Causes blindness, curses.
Blade swirling with dark energy that flares out like fire, Dimitri attacks swiftly with multiple slashes. The energy claims its victim and in turn blinds the opponent from seeing for several turns. In effect of this, it also inflicts a curse that zombifies the opponent and thus they harm themselves unpon healing until they first undo the curse.

Resolved Prophecy

Multiple Enemies - Paralizes and poisons opponents
A massive ball of dark energy engulfs Dimitri's weapon, charging it with a deadly force. Leaping into the air, he violently swings his weapon down onto the opponents and they are caught in the explosion of it, blasting them with a poisonous cloud of destruction. They find themselves paralyzed and possibly poisoned.

Violet Moon

Multiple Enemies - Casts Protect around himself and allies afterwards
By the glare of the moon, a glow envelopes around Dimitri as he prepares to strike. Suddenly seeming to disappear, he strikes every enemy with several strikes each, landing a good amount of damage. After he returns to his allies to prepare for the next attack, the moon's glow then engulfs he and everyone, casting onto them Protect.

Promise of a Warrior

Multiple Enemies - Explosive power
Images appear around him as he remembers the words of his mentors, his own father as well as his uncle. As the whispers disappear, his weapon bursts into a blue fiery aura. Leaping up into the air, he would direct his weapon straight up, and a whirlwind of that blue fire would launch up into a sort-of beam before he would bring it down onto his enemies. It would cause excessive damage, easily dispatching the weaker of his opponents.

Weapon Variants

Apocalypse

A two-handed weapon that reaches the length of four feet of blade and half a foot of handle. Its blade is tinted red near the end, though it began as gold from the handle then silver in the middle. It seems to be symbolic.
